Asset location codes are used to indicate the physical location of assets and to group assets together for report sorting and filtering. You can also search for assets by location.
When adding assets to the Asset Master File, you will be able to specify the location of the assets. To move (transfer) an asset from one location to another, use the Transfer Assets Utility.
