Asset status codes are used to describe your assets' status/condition and to group assets together for report sorting and filtering. You can also search for assets by status.
While you can use statuses of any kind, some examples might be things like In-Stock, In-Use, Obsolete, Damaged, Serviced, and so on.
Asset status codes can be assigned to assets in the Asset Master File.
