Asset classification codes are used to group assets together for report sorting and filtering. You can also search for assets by classification.
While you can use classifications of any kind, some examples might be Vehicles, Computers, Furniture, Tools, Equipment, and so on.
Asset classification codes can be assigned to assets in the Asset Master File.
