INVENTORY CONTROL > Usages from stock > Usage Work Area > Process new usages
This is used to process new inventory usages in the Usage Work Area. Alternatively, you can also process new usages when you exit your Work Area.
TIP: If you plan to print the Usage Work Area Listing or the Pre-Usage Stock Impact Report, do so before you process the usages as these reports can only be printed for usages currently in the Work Area (usage transactions will be removed from the Work Area upon processing).
Usage Processing Options Screen
This screen is used to configure various options for processing the usages.
If you do not allow negatives or substitute items and there is insufficient stock to fill any of the usages in the Work Area, those transactions will not be processed (i.e. will remain in the Work Area) and an error report will be printed automatically. You can then make adjustments and process the balance of the usages.
