The System Alert Log is an audit trail of unusual/noteworthy events and transactions in SpendMap, including the user that performed the transaction along with the date and time.
The Log would typically be reviewed periodically by a System Administrator.
TIP: To view a log of ALL activity/transactions in the system (i.e. not just unusual/noteworthy transactions), use the System Activity Log.
•Some (critical) transactions are logged automatically (e.g. cancelling a PO, system errors, etc.) while others can be enabled/disabled in System Alert Log Settings.
•System Administrators can optionally receive an e-mail notification when important/critical transactions are logged. |
