This is used to return items to inventory related to a past inventory usage, thereby increasing inventory levels and removing the charge from the cost center’s history/budget, while keeping the original usage transaction in the system for references/audit purposes.
Alternatively, you can entirely cancel/reverse a usage (i.e. without keeping the original transaction in SpendMap).
Steps
1.The screens/steps are the same as cancelling a usage, only you can also enter the quantity to return (which may be different than the original usage quantity for partial returns) and the return date (the date the item was put back into stock).
