To provide instant access to information when users view their dashboards, the information/data is calculated in advance.
This is used to refresh (recalculate) the information for all KPIs on all dashboards.
This process would typically be run as part of your nightly, off-hours maintenance, so as to not affect system performance during regular business hours.
