This utility can improve system performance by cleaning up the system’s database tables of unneeded information, including;
•Removing blank records (rows) from the database tables. Tables may have blank records/rows if a significant amount of data is purged (e.g. if many entries are removed from a Master File).
•Removing blank spaces from memo (free form text) fields.
•Deleting old attachments that are no longer referenced by live transactions.
This utility is run automatically when new versions of SpendMap are installed; otherwise this utility can be run on a yearly basis.
It is recommended that the system is backed up before running this utility.
