This utility recalculates the available and on-order balances of all items based on the transactions on each item history card.
This utility should not be needed during normal system use as on-order and stock balances are updated automatically as transactions are processed in the system. However, if you have not enabled the rollback feature and an error occurs while processing transactions (e.g. PC failure, network failure, etc.) the balances may not be updated properly.
The use of the rollback feature is recommended to maximize data integrity.
