If you are using the optional Inventory Control Module, you can simplify the restocking process by using this utility to fill the Item Requirements Staging Batch with all items that need to be re-ordered, that is, items that have fallen below their re-order level, as defined for each item in the Item Master File. You can then process the Staging Batch to automatically create POs or other procurement documents.
This will save you time over running a Reorder Report and then manually creating POs or other documents from the list manually.
You will have the option of omitting (skipping) items that are already on-order (i.e. defined on Open Purchase Orders or Requisitions to replenish stock).
Important: This utility will overwrite items if they already exist in the Staging Batch.
Questions & Options
1.Choose whether to fill the Staging Batch with items that are listed on the Inventory Re-Order Report or items listed on the Inventory Forecast Report.
The balance of the pop-up options will be the same as when running the applicable report.
