Inventory Control > Adjustments > Inventory counts > Establish cycle count frequency
If you perform Cycle Counts, these settings are used to limit/filter the items that are loaded into the Inventory Count Work Area when using Fill Work Area For Next Cycle Count, based on the count frequency that you specify here for each ABC Classification.
You can specify the ABC classification for each item in the Item Master File.
If these settings are established, when you fill the Count Work Area for the next cycle count, an inventory ticket will be created for each item based on its ABC classification, the count frequency that you have established for each ABC classification here, and the last time the item was counted. Therefore, you can run Fill Work Area For Next Cycle Count as often as you like, and inventory tickets will only be created for an item once it is time to count the item.
Enter zero (0) in all fields to bypass this feature (i.e. include all items each time you use Fill Work Area For Next Cycle Count.
In addition to the filters/limits that is imposed by these settings, can also specify various item filters/limits manually, when using Fill Work Area For Next Cycle Count.
