INVENTORY CONTROL > Adjustments > Transfer stock > Transfer stock to another location
This is used to move an item from one stock location to another.
The in-stock balance of the item will be decreased at the “from” location and will be increased at the “to” location.
Inventory transfer transactions will update the item’s history and will show on various reports.
Inventory Transfers can also be posted when filling Item Requisitions from stock (for stock transfer requests).
Transfer Stock Screen
This screen is used to enter the details of the transfer transaction.
High level inventory status information for the selected item/locations is displayed at the bottom of the screen for your reference. Note the columns for “From” and “To”.
