This utility is used to purge old transactions from the Usage Log.
Usage transactions will accumulate in the Log automatically as usages are processed.
IMPORTANT: Data that is purged is non-recoverable. If you are purging information that may be required for audit purposes, ensure that the appropriate reports are printed and retained for your records and/or a backup is performed before the data is purged. Also, the Usage Export pulls data from the Log, so purging the Log will remove any un-sent usage transactions. Therefore, if you use the Usage Export, make sure that the interface is run before purging the log. |
